Homie Lover Friend

Jacket: Old (Similar)
Trainers: Adidas Superstar
Sunglasses: Rayban

I take a lot of inspiration from my boyfriend when it comes to dressing sometimes, he has a knack of finding cool, new brands like a Young & Reckless - a brand owned by Rob Dyrdek's cousin, Chris Pfaff. Very cool, very refreshing and increasingly popular (their Instagram account has over 500K followers!). I can already tell I'll be living in this white tank top all summer.

Does anyone else despise dressing in a way that isn't comfortable? I might wear heels on the blog every now and again but I can tell you now, as soon as I can, I'm back in my trainers! Even on nights out, I chose to frequent clubs where the flatter form of footwear is preferred. As for tight fitted dresses and cut-to-the-body blazers, I get a strong sense of 'no thanks'. It's not an insecurity thing, I'm quite confident in the way I look, but comfort for me is key! I hate dressing for work....

I'm completely in love with this button down denim skirt I got from Zara recently! It's just so God damn cute! (and I don't really 'do' cute...). I feel so 90s I love it. Paired with these Topshop lace up shoes I got some funny stares but I don't care, because to me this outfit just 'fits', if that makes sense?? It just works, for me anyway.

This outfit is a result of a shopping trip geared around buying new clothes for work...clearly I was incredibly focussed and came away with these outrageously comfortable Girlfriend Jeans from BDG which I could probably just about get away with on dress down Friday. Back to the drawing board on that one! However, these jeans are definitely not a purchase I regret, they are so lovely I'm probably going to get the darker, shorter version too! My Mum was also eyeing them up....maybe I should hide them when I visit.

I was also brave enough to wear these black Topshop lace up flats; they're a little unusual but I really like that about them! I can't wait to pair them with little skirts for summer to poke them out from under a maxi dress.

I hope you've all had a great weekend! It's been a long weekend here in the UK and shockingly, it rained.

Here's the third and final instalment of the 'how to wear a white shirt' series. For the final look I really smartened it up by pairing it with pinstripe trousers and a simple black blazer. I love wearing black, white and navy, I think it's a fantastic combination which always looks smart and effortless.
Do you like this final look? I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

So this is the second instalment of my 'house to wear a white shirt' (you can view my first one here) posts! (only one more to go I promise!).With this look I've layered the white shirt underneath this Persunmall sweater for a more smart-casual look that you could wear as an every day outfit, or a 'meeting with friend' ensemble. I really hope you like this look, I decided to combine check prints with the pinstripe coat for something a little different (I did say I'll be wearing this coat a lot!).

A staple in any modern wardrobe is the white shirt. It will go with anything casual or to dress up for work or play. I recently purchased this Pull & Bear one to see me through the Spring and am going to do three outfit posts wearing the same shirt three different ways.
I hope you like this outfit, it's a simple way to dress down the shirt, casual flats without much else - just the way I plan on wearing it in the summer. What do you think?
