Christmas Gift Guide for Men

Tuesday, 25 November 2014

For me, the most difficult people to shop for at Christmas are the men (ahem, boys!). I see so many things in the shops that would be perfect for either a) a teenager, b) a toddler and c) immature lads but nothing for the grown ups! Fortunately the online stores are to the rescue with so many ideas for men with taste and who would rather some Monc Blanc than a racing car that would only see the light of day once or twice.

Who are the most difficult people you find to shop for are?

The Minimalist Gift Guide

Saturday, 8 November 2014

RIGHT It's a full week into November I really need to start thinking about what to buy people for Christmas. When I was younger I was super organised with my gifts, I'd have list after list and even know what cookies I was going to bake for everyone well in advance of the John Lewis gift catalogue being released. However, in my old age I have become a lot less efficient and so am forcing myself to think early about what to buy. It's men I tend to find are the most difficult, in particular my Dad who just doesn't.like.anything! By stark contrast my Mum is the easiest person in the world to shop for - books, cosmetics, house items she is a breathe of fresh air for shoppers. So here is my minimalist's guide to Christmas and I will be posting a few more of these in the run up to the festive season (a 'men's' one I think is in order).
I will get some outfit posts up this week, I've had trouble with the SD card the photos were on so hopefully that'll all be sorted by the end of the weekend :). I've been slack, I know but I'm going home for a few days in a couple of weeks so fully intend to dedicate some decent time to the blog (and Christmas shopping, of course!).

Thanks for reading!
