Apparently we are having an 'Indian summer' this week and the temperature's going to rise! Yay!! So whilst it's still t-shirt weather I got a few shots in :).

With Milan Fashion Week kicking off this week I'm really looking forward to seeing the outcomes from the shows! I'll be updating this week!

I've had such a busy weekend! It's been my best friend's AND my boyfriend's 21st birthday so there's been lots of cake and lots of drinks!

It's been quite difficult these last couple of weeks trying to put together things to wear as half my wardrobe is still at Uni! I brought home the essentials; shorts, t-shirts, jeans etc. but am missing those summer pieces that I desperately need to get my hands back on! I shall force myself at some point this week to go up there and get some stuff...

And so this outfit is a result of digging around in some boxes and reaching into the depths of my wardrobe to see what I can rediscover. I had completely forgotten about this blazer, put away because the boyfriend shape went out - but hurray for me, it's back in again! (now all I need are boyfriend jeans...). What do you think of my monochrome look?

Black on Black.....on Black!

I have been told that I have a bit of an obsession with blacks, whites and greys. I don't know whether it is because they are easier to wear and style or they're just a favourite of mine - I would probably guess it's a mix of the two. I am currently obsessed with these little leather shorts I picked up from Zara not so long ago; they go with everything and are perfect for the 'leather trend' (especially if you aren't comfortable in a full-on leather outfit!).

It's started raining again in England after such a lovely sunny week previously so it's back to shooting inside (better than nothing right?!). Hopefully the weather will cheer up again next week so we can get some sun!

What do you think of this outfit? It's really comfortable and so perfect for hot summer days!

Picnic kinda day

I've been staying in Southampton this week with the other half and the weather has been really nice these last couple of days so my boyfriend and I decided to pack up some sandwiches and head to the park for a picnic! With the sun shining I managed to squeeze in some photos before my tummy starting growling at me. Hope you like this outfit!

Prints!

I finally got a chance to take a few photos today (although it was very quickly done!) as the sun was shining and I had a spare minute (I was actually on a revision break walk - how sad am I?!). Again,  I'm sorry for the lack of posts at the moment but thank you for all your lovely comments!! I really appreciate it.

I got this lovely top from H&M a couple of weeks ago and finally got the chance to wear it. It's a lovely mosaic print which is a really light material and perfect for summer. It's a little chilly today so I added the jacket but otherwise it's good enough without it (it's short sleeved).

Casual Fridays

So today the sun decided to come out! I've been wearing lots of casual stuff lately because I've been studying most of the time and just going for walks in between. I have been to London and other places this week for other things but sadly on my own :( so had no one to take pictures when I was wearing something smart! You will see smart eventually...I promise.

These were taken in my godforsaken Uni digs "back garden" which I am very much looking forward to leaving behind in a month or so! It's nearly over and then I can go to the beach :) Can't wait! For those of you interested I got my dissertation/thesis mark back and I got a 2:1! So I'm extremely happy about that. Looking forward to summer....

London Bound

Sorry it's been so long since my last post! I've been really busy with Uni work and haven't had any time to do much in between things. So on Thursday I went for a little shopping trip in London with my other half to take a day off work. It was so hot and stuffy and incredibly busy so unfortunately I didn't get any time to take any pictures :(. It was a lovely day and I got a few nice things which I'll be sure to post about soon enough.

This is the outfit I wore; it's ideal for shopping because it's easy to take on and off when trying clothes on. I love these shoes, they're Topshop and so comfortable! Great for a day of long walking.

Getting read for Summer!

Ok so summer hasn't ACTUALLY arrived yet, but I'm being optimistic (it was actually raining outside when I took these). I can't wait to start taking photos outside!! Beautiful summer, hurry up! I thought I'd dig up some summer items. What do you think? (Oh, Converse, I've missed you!).

You know that feeling before you go on a shopping trip that you have NO CLOTHES? Even though you know you do? I mean, how else have you survived? Well I have that! I feel so in-between seasons I feel like I don't have a stitch to wear.

Fortunately, I'm going shopping in a couple weeks for summer things (so excited!) so hopefully I won't feel in such despair.
