I was so lucky to be invited to the ASOS #EpicSummer party event at their HQ in London last week. It was so much fun and I got to meet some lovely new people and fellow bloggers! I headed up their with my friend, and fellow blogger, Islay and couldn't resist a bit of shopping and Laduree macaroons (see my Instagram).

See my previous post for what I wore to the event!

Thanks for reading, and thanks for a great party ASOS!

It's that first time of the year, the time where I open my underwear draw, stare at the clear tights and bravely close the draw empty handed. It's time. It's a cool 16 degrees, but sandals don't look right with tights (I hate to admit I did have to convince myself of this for longer than I care to admit), I decide to take the plunge. So here you have it, my fair skin on show for all to see and I have to admit, it felt good - the promise of summer just around the corner, a reminder to finally put my winter coats away and the fact that I can still get home, put my pyjamas on and have a hot chocolate under a blanket. There's so much to enjoy about this time of year.

On another note, what do you think of this lovely Mango top I scooped up on sale on Saturday? I can tell this is going to be a regular offender this summer.

I really love this look, this has to be my favourite culottes out of the two. These Topshop beauties are surprisingly easy to style and are so comfortable to wear. I will be living in these this summer on the super-hot days and occasions where the short-shorts are not permitted. I must apologise for my excessively pale skin, it's been a long winter here in England! I'm very fortunate to live near the beach and I've fallen in love with this location. It's quiet (if you're a street style blogger you will understand how nice it is to not have people walking past giving you funny looks all the time whilst trying to take photos!), it's beautiful (the sea!!) and so peaceful.

What do you think of my second culottes look?

Spring Must-Have

Saturday, 15 February 2014

I know it's still pouring with rain and North America is suffering from the snow storm of the century but I can assure you Spring IS around the corner (I promise it's there, it's just hiding). So before we know it we'll be seeing our granddads in their favourite sandal/sock combo, pasty beach bodies in need of a good sunbathe and, of course, all the pastel colours we've been patiently waiting to wear without the threat of a rain shower.
So I present to you one of my favourite trends for the upcoming season - the baby blue biker jacket. River Island have done a fantastic collection of pastels this year and this has to be one of the best pieces! What do you think? Will you be taking on this trend this spring/summer?
