I work in an office and am constantly trying to think of ideas to wear - I love my trainers and lose fit t-shirts which don't always go down so well. So as we move into Autumn I am determined to smarten things up a bit - starting with this beautiful French Connection sweater. I think I can get away with it at work don't you?

RIGHT. It's coming towards the end of August now so it's time to start thinking about AW14 (Ok, I probably should have started thinking a little before now). I've been compiling my wish lists and I have sweaters sweaters sweaters on the brain! I've already got a few in mind, so I'm looking forward to putting them up on the blog soon.

For the coming season I really want to incorporate the summer culottes trend - I just don't feel I made the most of it and will therefore make the upmost effort to carry on wearing them for as long as winter allows!

This actually wasn't intended as an outfit to shoot for the blog, I simply wore it over to my sisters and it was so comfortable I didn't want to take it off just yet so thought why not shoot this one as well?! I'm a big fan of denim, it's reminiscent of summer - denim jackets, boyfriend jeans and short shorts which just don't work so well in winter (usually because I'm huddled up in anything with a fleece lining). It's just so easy to wear! What do you think of my relaxed denim look?

The sports trend - it's a bit like Marmite (apologies for those outside the UK, Google it) you either love it or hate it. I, personally, am an advocate of any trend which allows you to walk down the street without the need to worry about VPL, achy feet and food babies. Introducing fashion's solution - sports lux. I blame DKNY and Alexander Wang (with a hint of Rhianna and Cara Delevinge on the side) but I hail them at the same time, for now fashion is comfortable; therefore ladies, I salute you. Well Dunn (yes Jourdan, you too).

The Shirt Dress

Zara AW14

Every season I swear Zara gets better and better. This new collection is just perfection and I will do well not to purchase the majority of it in the next couple of months. They sleek silhouette and manish tailoring screams back to the Bassike Resort collection and the modern take from the likes of Celine and Phillip Lim.

Denim Days

It's no secret that I love denim, I would sleep in it if my fabric conditioner allowed. I seem to have started a love affair, somewhat, with these Sheinside denim shorts (not sure how my boyfriend jeans are going to feel about this). They are just perfect for the summer heat we had when shooting these pictures and for days at the beach. They did provide the perfect shopping accompaniment today though - worth bearing in mind when going in and out of hot, sweaty changing rooms!
