I’m really disappointed in myself for not wearing this pleated skirt more. I mean, it’s just so damn comfortable! To tell the truth, I feel very girly in it which, if you’ve been following me for any considerable amount of time you will know is something a little different to how I usually feel.

Naturally to counter-balance this fleck of femininity I had to add my Nike Rosches to the mix to even things out - don’t want the universe closing in on itself or anything!

I’m really tempted to get a white one similar - wear it with a black sweater or something, hmmmm (sorry, thinking out loud). All this talk about pleated, floaty skirts however is causing me to CRAVE spring. It seems so close yet so far away, I’m already planning summer outfits and saving inspiration (thanks Australia for your summer time inspo, you are indeed making us all very jealous) but I’m still in the ‘what’s the point’ kind of mood. January is a slow month and I suppose it is something to look forward to (along with a couple of city breaks planned for the warmer months). Bring on the shorts and t-shirts (preferably sloganed and ripped).

I hope you’re not letting the so-called ‘January Blues’ get to you either. Also, if you're wondering why my skin looks like it's grey - we went out a little late to take the photos and it was raining! So the light wasn't so good but I like the way they came out so they're staying!
