These are my must-haves which I cannot leave the house without using! I was told by a hairdresser that washing your hair every day does nothing for it, so I now have a new regime of washing my hair every other day (with exceptions) and have really noticed an improvement! Of course, at first your hair doesn't adjust as easily so as a simple fix I use Bastiste dry shampoo (availble in must drug stores) which works really well and doesn't weigh my hair down. I use the volumising one as my hair cna be quite flat sometimes.
As a student I find myself wanting good quality make-up but without the price tag. I find No7, available in Boots stores across the UK, is a fantastic alternative to high-end designers. If you see a consultant in store they will colour match your foundation for you (I use the 'Stay Perfect') and give great advice about what products to use. I also use their primer as it's really light and really good!
I know I said I'm on a budget but concealor is something I never skimp on! I use the Chanel Eclat Lumiere which is, in my opinion, as good as the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. It's around £25 but worth every penny! It's the best concealor i've used and I need a good one! I've tried cheaper brands before and they just don't work well enough.
In the cold months I don't like to wear lipstick very often because of dry lips but as a solution I find dabbing a little Vaseline (a life saver if you ask me!) before applying lipstick it makes it appear a lot smoother without drying out your lips. In this post is the Revlon Matte lipstick in Nude Attitude.
Hope you enjoyed reading my first post!
